The yoga, health and exercise boom has not passed the Starnberg district by.

In the past few years, small studios with individual offers have sprung up everywhere.

Nina Fritzsche, who runs the Eastcoast dance studio in Herrsching, estimates that there are at least 50 trainers in Herrsching alone.

A good dozen studio operators and trainers have now come together in Herrsching to draw attention to themselves and to remind people of them.

Your message: "We are still there - only with you".

Herrsching

- Since the first lockdown, training was only allowed in five of the past twelve months under strict hygiene requirements, including two summer months, which are usually little used anyway.

More than 50 percent of the students have since broken away.

Those who remained attend the online courses that all providers have since had to switch to.

“Some of us had to give up our own rooms.

This has consequences for many freelance trainers in Herrsching.

Because they are attached to the studios that can still be held, ”says Nina Fritzsche.

One or the other is trying to stay afloat with short-term alternatives in other areas, many have run out of money.

"In addition to loyal customers, some of us have also received government aid and rental facilities, but above all functioning online concepts," explains the studio operator.

But it gets tedious.

"The coaches not only lack income, but also lack human contact, physical encounters, community sports, the enthusiasm and success of their customers."

In addition to the sports clubs and the adult education center, around 1000 Herrschinger trains per week in the small studios, says Nina Fritzsche.

She and her colleagues are happy about every student who is loyal to them and pays dues.

But gym owners and trainers are gradually running out of air, which is why they decided to take this unusual action, with which they advertise on the large community billboard on Bahnhofstrasse.

The message: “We need you, stay true to us.

Do not forget us when it gently starts again. "

Studios and their interiors will remain closed in Bavaria for the time being, and there is no concrete opening strategy for the time being.

Even after the most recent summit, violations are mentioned as an administrative offense in the Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, with the threat of a high fine.

A concession has been made - in the open air, if the incidence value is below 100.

So it's a good time to remember.
