Nandlstadt will pay his clubs subsidies for youth work in the future.

But first of all the terms of the funding were debated.

Nandlstadt

- Sometimes it takes a little longer: Already at the end of 2019, the Nandlstadt association officers submitted an application for youth work funding.

At the most recent market council meeting, the time had finally come: the guidelines on which clubs are eligible for funding were put in place.

As early as December 2019, according to the status report of the market administration, an application for youth work funding was submitted by the relevant speakers Andreas Steininger (who has since left the municipal council) and Sebastian Löffler (BLN).

A year later, a corresponding draft guideline was pinned down, which was finally on the table in March 2021.

The administration explains the large time window in between with "some unclear questions" and the "time required".

When asked, Löffler said: "It could have been faster." In his opinion, what also came up was the change of mayor and, ultimately, the corona pandemic.

However, he is now happy that the guidelines have finally been approved.

Certain clubs are no longer eligible for funding

Who is entitled to funding in terms of youth work?

The statutes explain: Local associations that are recognized as non-profit and have their headquarters in Nandlstadt.

In addition, the association must have at least 20 members - of which at least ten are young contributors.

And further: “The association must serve the cultural, sporting, social, health or educational well-being of the population and, in accordance with its association statutes, have been formed exclusively for this charitable purpose and then align the association's work - and in the cultural, sporting, social, health or educational Life of the market become active. ”Each budget year, a ten euro grant can then be paid out for each young club member.

On the other hand, economic associations, for example round tables and the like, have no claim.

Associations that already regularly receive grants based on agreements with the municipality are also excluded from this funding.

One point, however, sparked discussions: clubs where less than half of the young people do not live in Markt Nandlstadt do not receive a ten-euro grant per capita.

Robert Urbaneck (UWN) did not find it particularly ideal.

In his opinion this should not be a "knockout criterion", he would like the possibility of a special regulation for exceptions.

Mayor Gerhard Betz, however, could hardly warm up to it: "You just want to support the Nandlstädter and not, for example, the Zollinger."

The money should make "sweets" possible

Rainer Klier (CSU) advocated individual decisions rather than rewriting the whole statute again: “That wouldn't be great.” According to Klier, a lot of thought was given and the guidelines had been discussed for a long time.

For Löffler, this support is “very important” per se, because the young people are very well accommodated in the clubs.

In his opinion, that should also be rewarded.

For the money, so Löffler when asked, the clubs could then afford a “treat”, for example excursions with the young people.

The guidelines were unanimously adopted and should apply from the beginning of 2022 - a good two years after the application was submitted.
