Actually, a water pipe in the center of Kranzberg should have been replaced by now.
However, Corona thwarts these plans.
Kranzberg
- Everything has already been prepared, but the diversion signs that have already been set up in the center of Kranzberg will remain crossed out for a while.
The water pipe between the intersection at the Metzgerwirt and the Amperbrücke should have been replaced, but the work was postponed to April 12th.
Mayor Hermann Hammerl announced this to the finance committee.
A corona case in the commissioned company is the reason for the postponement.
In mid-April, six weeks are planned for laying the lines, with the company assuming a construction time of three weeks.
Hammerl said that the buffer had to be dimensioned generously because local public transport would also be attached to such a measure.
Mayor wants to make the supermarket accessible
The diversion during the construction period will take place via Giesenbach and Thurnsberg.
However, the mayor made it clear that efforts would be made to make the local supermarket “Rauschecker” accessible even during the construction period.
Further measures will not be carried out for the time being.
“It's over after the water pipe,” says Hammerl.
The passage through town will then be temporarily restored.
Due to unanswered questions, the road renewal was postponed to 2022 or 2023.
