Scientists from the California Institute of Technology discovered that Saturn's moon "Enceladus" has a salt ocean with strong currents, which makes it appear like Earth's oceans.
According to the "Vice" website, scientists have long believed that the cosmic body is a lifeless ice ball, but thanks to data obtained during the Cassini mission in 2014, it was found that there is an ocean under the "Enceladus" ice.
And scientists showed that many of the main features of the ocean on the moon "Enceladus" are similar to the Earth's oceans, pointing out that the diameter of Saturn's moon is about 500 km.
The scientists argue that their discovery will provide insight into the characteristics of areas where life could exist.
