Today, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the years 2021-2023 with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The Red Crescent Organization stated on its official page that the agreement was signed during a meeting between the President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Engineer Khaled Habboubati, and the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer.
The organization indicated that the agreement affirms the support of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in its humanitarian response in Syria in order to meet the huge and growing needs, especially in light of the Corona pandemic.
