Youssif B., 15, Claudius G., 18 and Samuel T., 20, were arrested and taken into police custody.
Particularly violent thefts
Quickly, the investigators of the departmental security of the Rhône make the connection with many similar facts which have occurred since the beginning of the year in the Lyon area.
Several elderly people were indeed victims of the theft of their handbags by one or two individuals who then fled by car.
These thefts were particularly violent: some victims had significant injuries rated for up to 60 days of ITT.
The searches at the homes of the three individuals arrested led to the discovery of numerous stolen effects allowing at least 25 facts to be attributed to them.
According to our information, the victims formally recognized the minor and one of the adults.
The three accused were presented to the prosecution on Tuesday March 23 and indicted.
Both adults were remanded in custody while the minor was released.
