Chechen killed in Rennes: a second suspect imprisoned

A man in his twenties was indicted for "

complicity in organized murder

" and imprisoned in the investigation into the shooting death of a 23-year-old Chechen in Rennes on March 17, a announced the prosecution this Saturday, March 27.

The man, suspected of having accompanied the shooter, was also indicted for "complicity in attempted murder by an organized gang", "acquisition and possession of weapons" and "criminal association with a view to committing a crime" .

He faces life imprisonment.

This suspect was arrested by the judicial police on Tuesday evening "

while he was in a vehicle with a minor holding more than 100 grams of cocaine, a woman and an 18-month-old baby

," said Rennes prosecutor Philippe Astruc in a press release.

This man, born in 2001, has already been convicted on several occasions for aggravated theft and aggravated violence when he was a minor.
