The Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed announced that the accident of two trains yesterday in Sohag, southern Egypt, resulted in the death of 19 citizens, the injury of 185 others, and 3 bags of body parts, in retreat from the toll that earlier indicated 32 deaths.
Zayed explained during a press conference today, “64 cases of injury and death were monitored and transferred by the people, 20 of them were reported to be deaths. Send the injured to hospitals urgently.
Yesterday, a previous toll indicated that 32 people were killed and 108 injured due to a collision of two trains at the Tahta center in Sohag Governorate in Upper Egypt.
