Secretary of the Committee for the Development of Nano Products of the Scientific and Technological Department of the Presidency of the Republic of Iran Saeed Sarkar announced today that the country's products in the field of nanoscale are exported to 49 countries in the world at present.
Iran's Fars News Agency quoted Sarkar as saying in a statement that "at present, 725 nanoproducts are produced in the country in more than 10 industrial fields."
Sarkar indicated that Iranian nanoproducts have been exported to Asian markets in recent years.
"The countries of China, India, Indonesia, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan have become in recent years within the markets of Iranian nanoproducts exports," he added, explaining that Iranian researchers, by publishing more than 12,000 articles in prestigious global fields during the year 2020, have proven the fourth place of the Islamic Republic of Iran in science. Nanotechnology in the world, while it was ranked 57th by publishing 10 articles in the year 2001.
Sarkar stressed the prominent role of knowledge companies in the country to manufacture nano products, including goods related to combating the Corona virus, including 250,000 "N95" masks, more than 200 tons of sterilization materials per day, and rapid diagnosis of Corona disease in less than 30 seconds.
