According to an internal email sent by the Baptist University to teachers and students, the school reported indirectly on Saturday evening that a social science student had tested positive for new coronary pneumonia.
According to available information, this student attended two classes at CVA109 in the Visual Arts Building and LMC2 in the Lu Mingcai Center on March 18 and 22 respectively.
The student wore a mask when he arrived at school and was tested positive on March 27.
After receiving the news, the property management office immediately arranged to close the relevant classrooms and premises for disinfection.
The school stated that it would work closely with the Center for Health Protection to track close contacts of the confirmed student.
The Center for Protection has requested the school to provide the names and contact information of relevant teachers and students.
