Palmyra-Sana
A civilian was injured this evening as a result of the explosion of a landmine left over from the terrorist organization ISIS, west of the village of Ark in the eastern countryside of Palmyra.
The Director General of the National Palmyra Hospital Authority, Dr. Walid Odeh, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the hospital received this evening a 31-year-old man with numerous injuries, his leg amputated as a result of a mine explosion.
Odeh indicated that the necessary first aid was given to the injured and his condition is stable.
Before their retreat from the region, the terrorist organizations planted mines and improvised explosive devices in their places of deployment in agricultural lands and between neighborhoods and homes to inflict the greatest damage on the people who return to their areas after being liberated from terrorism.
