For the second time in the last two months:
A grenade was thrown today (Sunday) at the home of an employee of the Nahariya municipality, and the police opened an investigation.
There were no casualties and no property damage was caused.
A similar incident occurred on February 6, when a stun grenade was thrown at the home of the same city employee.
Nahariya Mayor Ronen Menali said at the time that "he trusts the police to quickly find those responsible in fact and bring them to justice."
The Nahariya municipality said: "We take the case of a grenade thrown at a municipal employee's home very seriously. The Israeli police are investigating the incident. We call on the police to do so quickly and trust that they will reach the person in charge."
