At 11 p.m. the supermarket has been supposed to be closed for a long time.
But that's when employees finally reunite with their loved ones.
This Saturday, two men robbed the Leclerc store in Chelles.
They locked the 12 employees in the vault before fleeing.
They would not have had time to seize the recipe.
It is 7:30 p.m., according to video surveillance images, when the employees of the sign located avenue Sylvie, between the industrial zone and the Gournay bridge (Seine-Saint-Denis) begin to return home.
"There were no more customers, we were between us", testifies an employee whom one of her relatives came to pick up by car.
A man holding a gas in his hand crosses three or four and rushes into the store through the main entrance.
"They told us straight away that they were there for the money"
The thief rushes to a door on the side of the store.
Behind, her boyfriend is waiting for her.
He is armed with a handgun.
His face is concealed by a hood.
The accomplice rushes to rob the employees who were leaving.
Under threat, all employees are grouped together.
"We were scared but they told us straight away that they were there for the money," testifies the employee.
The robbers lock everyone up in the vault room.
"We were warned by the director who had just been warned by one of the victims," slips a police source.
The alarm is triggered.
Still according to the video surveillance images, the thugs came out of the Leclerc by the service door at 19:53.
It was just before the arrival of the police.
According to the Alliance union, the restructuring of the police services in Seine-et-Marne since September has extended response times.
“We need a significant staffing contribution, especially since we have to deal with growing delinquency,” claims Fanny Durieux, the union's deputy departmental manager.
"We feared a hostage-taking"
When the police arrive there, they do not yet know if the robbers are still there.
“We feared a hostage-taking,” blows a police source.
Several anti-crime brigade crews and emergency police patrols are stationed in front of the supermarket.
The departmental intervention company, particularly equipped and trained for this type of operation, also joined the scene.
“It took time to organize,” summarizes the same source.
Arranged in columns, the police entered the Leclerc.
They fall on the employees.
“The police told us to come out with our hands up,” the employee smiles.
They didn't know if the robbers were among us or if they had already fled ”.
