A proposal to decriminalize abortion in the Dominican Republic is a source of tension and division in the Caribbean country.
Protesters in favor of the proposal have camped in front of the National Palace in Santo Domingo for more than two weeks, demanding that abortion be legally allowed.
While other groups defend what they consider the right to life.
