Dozens of people were killed, including a British, and others were missing in an attack by gunmen on the town of Palma, in northeastern Mozambique.
The British newspaper The Times said today that an armed group linked to the terrorist organization ISIS launched an attack on the city of Palma, a few kilometers away from a huge gas project run by the French company Total in the eastern province of Cabo Delgado, killing dozens of people, including a British, and the loss of others.
The newspaper added that Total began evacuating about a thousand of its employees from the coastal town of Palma, which is besieged by the militants.
A terrorist group announced yesterday that it took control of the town of Palma after an attack that killed dozens and prompted the majority of the population to flee to the surrounding forests.
