A fatal car accident occurred on Tsing Sha Highway near West Kowloon Highway.
At 12:52 this (28th) noon, the police received a report stating that Tsing Sha Highway was heading towards Tsim Sha Tsui, off Hai Lai Village, and a three-wheeled motorcycle was suspected to have lost control and crashed into the road after making a left turn. The 60-year-old Iron Knight separated from the car, and fell on the ground after it flew for more than ten meters, but the three-wheeled motorcycle continued to rush for more than ten meters and then began to descend.
The Iron Knight suffered serious injuries to his hands, feet and head and fell into a coma. He was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre by ambulance and was certified dead at 1:50 pm.
The police sealed off the scene for investigation. What was seen at the scene showed traces of tires on the road shoulders and stone bumps, and there were blood-stained helmets, shoes and a pool of blood stains on the ground.
The helmet of the deceased was left on the pavement, and there was a pool of blood stains.
