Hungary recorded 9,082 new infections with the Coronavirus and 220 deaths from the Coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
The Hungarian government team in charge of monitoring the epidemiological situation resulting from the virus stated that the total number of cases in the country rose to 633861, while the number of deaths rose to 1,972 cases.
Due to the significant increase in the number of people infected with the virus, the Hungarian government has extended restrictive measures to limit the spread of the epidemic until April 19.
