The spokesman for the Jordanian government, Sakher Dudin, announced the extension of the comprehensive curfew measures applied in the country until mid-May.
Dudin said in a statement today that Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh issued a statement requiring the extension of the provisions of two statements issued in 2020 relating to the hours of the night ban and the comprehensive curfew on Friday and closed sectors until the fifteenth of next May, indicating that this week will include the announcement of measures with a mitigating and stimulating effect. Dudin added that these procedures and decisions are under preparation and are currently being elaborated by the specialized committees and teams and are expected to be announced before the end of this week.
