The chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, Avigdor Lieberman, posted today (Sunday) on his Facebook account that his party will recommend to the president that Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid be a candidate for the formation of the government.
"As we pledged, we will recommend the party chairman from the bloc of change who received the highest number of seats," Lieberman said.

"Anyone who tries to thwart the move and put his ego above the national interest will be held responsible for a fifth election. Getting out of the political tangle requires all parties to find creative solutions out of the box," he said.
In addition, he said that in the next Knesset he will promote legislation against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "Upon the inauguration of the 24th Knesset, Yisrael Beiteinu will submit a bill that will limit the prime minister's term to only two terms, a proposal that Netanyahu previously supported."
