The new crown pneumonia epidemic has slowed down a bit, and no local confirmed diagnosis has been made for two consecutive days. However, there are still buildings that have tested positive for sewage, and residents and visitors are required to undergo mandatory testing.

The government announced tonight (28th) that one additional place that requires mandatory testing is the Lide Building, 81-87 Battery Street, Yau Ma Tei.

The government gazetted it in the evening. Anyone staying in the Lide Building, 81-87 Battery Street, Yau Ma Tei for more than two hours (including but not limited to residents, visitors and staff) between March 24 and 28 must Tested on or before the 30th of the month.

The government reminded that the tests received in the emergency department of the Hospital Authority and during hospitalization, or the tests provided by private laboratories that cannot send SMS notifications of the test results, do not meet the requirements of the aforementioned mandatory test announcement.

According to the authorities, starting from tomorrow (29th), the mobile sampling station at No. 557 Shanghai Street (opposite Langham Place) in Mong Kok will be relocated to Beech Street, Tai Kok Tsui, and is tentatively open until Tuesday (30th).

In addition, the authorities also reminded the public that a mandatory test announcement had been issued earlier, requiring all members of close contacts who live with them to undergo mandatory testing; and within three days after receiving the test, the test results should be reported to the government by telephone, fax or email.
