The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that two terrorists had repelled an attack in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, killing one and wounding the other.
The Revolutionary Guards said in a brief statement today that "armed confrontations with two terrorists who attacked a military headquarters in the city of Shush in the southwest of the country the day before yesterday resulted in the death of one of them and the injury of the other," without giving further details.
The Iranian police chief in Tehran, Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi, announced on the twenty-fourth of last month that the attempt to carry out a suicide terrorist attack in the capital, Tehran, had been thwarted.
