Two young people were out and about in Geretsried on Friday evening with so-called airsoft pistols.
A twelve-year-old girl was shot and had to be hospitalized.
Geretsried - At around 5:30 p.m., the police received a report that a young person had shot a gun at passers-by in an underground car park in the city center.
Witnesses were able to arrest the perpetrator until the emergency services from Geretsried and Wolfratshausen arrived.
It is a 16-year-old Geretsrieder.
According to the police, he had an airsoft pistol with him that shoots small plastic bullets and looks very much like a real pistol.
The 16-year-old shot a twelve-year-old girl with it.
She suffered so much pain from being hit with the plastic balls that she had to be taken to the hospital by the ambulance service.
The airsoft pistol was seized.
The 16-year-old now has to answer for dangerous bodily harm and the use of a dummy weapon.
Witnesses who observed the incident or were shot at or even injured themselves are asked to report to the Geretsried police on 0 81 71/9 35 10.
Another incident occurred around 11 p.m.
During another operation, the police noticed a 14-year-old Geretsrieder.
He walked towards them and held a pistol in his hand.
The youth was immediately asked to put the gun down.
In this case, too, it was an airsoft pistol, which can hardly be distinguished from a real firearm.
The gun was secured and the 14-year-old was given to his mother.
He, too, is facing a trial for carrying a pretend weapon.
