Two young people were out and about in Geretsried on Friday evening with so-called airsoft pistols.
One shot a twelve-year-old girl who was then hospitalized.

- Around 5:30 p.m. the police received a report that a young person had shot a gun at passers-by in an underground car park in the city center.
Witnesses were able to arrest the perpetrator until the emergency services from Geretsried and Wolfratshausen arrived.
It was a 16-year-old Geretsrieder.
The police said he had an airsoft pistol with him that fired small plastic bullets and looked very much like a real pistol.
The 16-year-old shot a twelve-year-old girl with it.

The hits with the plastic balls caused the girl so much pain that the emergency services had to take her to the hospital.
The airsoft pistol was seized.
The 16-year-old now has to answer for dangerous bodily harm and the use of a dummy weapon.
Witnesses who observed the incident or were shot at or even injured themselves are asked to report to the Geretsried police on (0 81 71) 9 35 10.
Another incident occurred around 11 p.m.
During another operation, the police noticed a 14-year-old Geretsrieder.
He was walking towards them, holding a pistol.
The youth was immediately asked to put the gun down.
In this case, too, it was an airsoft pistol, which can hardly be distinguished from a real firearm.
The gun was secured and the 14-year-old was given to his mother.
He is also facing a trial for carrying a dummy weapon.
