There were also gatherings on the Wiesse lake promenade on Friday evening.

A passer-by was annoyed - and alerted the police.

Bad Wiessee

- Young people who stand together in company without any distance or mask and drink a beer or two: the picture that presented itself to him on Friday evening at the boathouse on the Wiesse lake promenade left a passer-by angry.

“It was like a party,” reports the reader, who does not want to be named.

In view of the increasing number of infections, a condition that he did not want to tolerate.

The passer-by took a photo and also notified the police about the gathering.

He estimates that it was around 30 people between the ages of 20 and 30 who enjoyed themselves here.

That was around 6.45 p.m.

At around 10 p.m., the patrol dissolves the gathering of people on the Wiesse lake promenade

When asked on Sunday, the police confirmed that a patrol had been on site on Friday evening.

When the officers arrived shortly after 7 p.m., there was nothing more to complain about, a spokesman said.

However, at a later hour, around 10 p.m., the officers stopped by the Wiesse lake promenade.

In fact, a crowd of people then had to be broken up, reports the police.

A total of ten people, who enjoyed the Friday evening here together, must now expect advertisements.

In addition to other hotspots, the Wiesse lake promenade is one of those places where the police have to check compliance with the corona rules more often, the spokesman confirms.

Mayor: No complaints about to-go stands on the lake promenade

This may partly be due to the two popular to-go stands that have been established down there since February.

When asked, Mayor Robert Kühn denies that there is increasing anger around the huts or violations of the Infection Protection Act.

"The start was a bit bumpy, but things have been going well since then," said Kühn.

The town hall did not have to register a single complaint.

In addition, the mayor emphasizes that the municipality has imposed "strict conditions" on the operators of the two huts in order to keep the situation in order: the operators would have to provide a steward who ensures that within the prescribed 50 Meters do not form any accumulations in front of the huts, and it should only be open until 7 p.m.

What happens outside of this radius is no longer up to the operator.
