Space for five kindergarten and three after-school groups, play areas, relaxation rooms, a beautiful outdoor area and the option to expand by four groups: all of this is to be provided by the new children's house that the Neuching community wants to build where the new sports area is currently being built.
Neuching - architect Alexander Pfletscher, who also planned the construction of the sports hall, presented the preliminary draft to the local council.
In the first construction phase, space is to be created for 125 kindergarten children in five groups, as well as three after-school groups for 75 primary school children.
The crèche children stay in the St. Martin children's home in Oberneuching; the community is bound to this location because of the funding received.
In the planning of the new children's home, all the required rooms are on the ground floor and first floor.
The Munich architect Pfletscher from the planning office PSA Pfletscher and Steffan Architects planned the arrangement in coordination with the kindergarten management.
In doing so, he relies on an open support option.
Play areas and cloakrooms should be linked together or visual contact with the children in the group from the hallway should be possible.
No rigid rooms, but an open concept with spatial diversity and transparency.

“It's a hybrid construction.
This means that we erect supports and ceilings in concrete for reasons of noise and fire protection.
Everything else, especially the facade, will be made of wood, ”explained the architect.
This type of construction takes environmental considerations into account.
In addition, it should be possible to accommodate four additional groups on a second floor in a second construction phase, which is still open in terms of time.
But whether this should ever be realized, there was a need for discussion in the committee - as well as the costs.
In addition to the approximately 5.3 million euros for the building, there are fee costs, outdoor facilities and furniture.
Pfletscher estimates the total costs at 6.5 million euros.
There are 3.5 million euros in funding, so Neuching has to shell out just under three million euros.
“That’s an additional 700,000 euros.
Where do they come from? ”Manfred Mittermaier (FWG) wanted to know in relation to the first cost estimate.
He asked for an exact list of all costs by the next meeting.

Building authority boss Erhard Huber explained that the planning that was initially evaporated was not tenable.
The rooms would not have been sufficient, there was too little space in the after-school care center.
This resulted in an area increase of 16 percent.
"Otherwise it would have been too tight." A relaxation room for after-school children and an outside toilet were also not there before, Pfletscher added: "This is now a children's house where you can work well, also for the next few decades."
Martin Bauer (CSU) saw the estimated 200,000 euros for the outdoor facilities “a little bit.
We need play equipment that is state-of-the-art ”.
And the furniture must also meet all standards.
Some councilors wanted to know whether it would be possible to save a lot if there was no possibility of expansion.
“We won't be able to achieve a significant reduction,” believes the architect.
Martin Schwarzenbeck (CSU) has a different opinion: “We should stick to eight groups.
The second floor is not great with children.
I calculate with 300,000 euros less with a normal roof instead of a flat roof. ”In this case, there will be no possibility of expansion, but perhaps a nature kindergarten can be realized later.
Pfletscher found the sum of 300,000 euros too high.
The decision on the possibility of expansion was postponed to the next meeting.
Martin Bichlmaier (SPD) also addressed the enormous increases in prices in the construction industry.
“Material and raw material prices are exploding.
It must be clear to us that there will still be a surprise or two.
The companies are busy.
The whole thing can cost seven or 7.5 million euros, ”he warned.
Pfletscher is confident that the approval planning will be submitted at the end of June and that construction can start next spring.
The building must be ready in time for the kindergarten year 2023.
“That is not a problem,” says Pfletscher with conviction.
