Police today (Monday) shot dead a 33-year-old man who allegedly pulled out a knife in front of them in Haifa.

MDA staff evacuated him in a critical and unstable condition to Rambam Hospital in Araf, where he was pronounced dead.

"Opening fire to fend off an attack with a hot or cold weapon, which put the policeman in danger of actual and immediate harm to his life."

On January 18, 2019, he was shot dead by police officer Yehuda Biadga, 24, on a street in Bat Yam.

Biadga left his house wrapped in a tallit and holding a knife.
