A lottery for about 300 housing units as part of a price-per-tenant program opens for registration.
The number of housing units in the various cities: Beer Sheva - 83, Emanuel - 58, Kiryat Shmona - 26, Jisr a-Zarqa - 72, Nazareth - 44.
According to the new policy of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, lotteries are opened only after obtaining a building permit or permit, in order to shorten the waiting time until the date of selection of the apartment.
The process of selecting the apartments in the various projects is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Registration opened this week for another lottery, which will include 283 housing units in Emanuel, Kiryat Shmona, Jisr a-Zarqa, Nazareth and Beer Sheva.
Registration will be open for two weeks.
The lottery results are expected to be delivered during the month of April.

In some localities in this lottery, grants of NIS 40,000 or 60,000 are given to buyers.
"The winners will wait a very short time between the announcement of the winners and the process of selecting the apartments and signing the contract," promised Ariel Rosenberg, head of senior marketing.
These housing units will be added to about 80,000 housing units that have already been drawn as part of a price-per-tenant program in about 90 localities (out of about 100,000 housing units that have been successfully marketed to contractors).
To date, more than 65,000 housing units have received a full building permit or conditional permit.
