A confrontation was organized in the court of Soissons on Monday March 29 between Christophe Ellul, indicted for manslaughter after the death at the end of 2019 of his companion Elisa Pilarski, by canine bites, and the family of the victim, AFP learned from parquet.

Christophe Ellul was present for a confrontation today with the family of Elisa Pilarski,
" Soissons prosecutor Julien Morino-Ros told AFP, confirming information from BFMTV.
According to a source familiar with the matter, this confrontation lasted about three hours.
On March 4, Christophe Ellul, who has always proclaimed the “
innocence
” of his dog Curtis, was indicted “
for having by clumsiness, recklessness, inattention, negligence or breach of an obligation of prudence or safety (.. .) unintentionally caused the death
”of the young woman.
Aged 29 and pregnant, Elisa Pilarski was found dead by her companion on November 16, 2019, in a forest in the Aisne where she was walking Curtis, near a hound hunt, after "
a hemorrhage following several bites
".
The prosecution named Curtis solely responsible in November on the basis of DNA analysis and bite examinations.

taken no less than 20 photos with Curtis who walks in the forest of Retz, with her, on a leash, but not muzzled
", he assured, specifying that these images were "
time-stamped (...) five minutes before it was attacked

At 1:45 p.m., while Mr. Ellul is in the car to reach the forest of Retz following the distress call from my niece at 1:19 p.m., he will send an SMS to my niece in the following terms: '' I have him stung ''.
By this one SMS, he recognizes that his dog is at the origin of the death of my niece
