Contacts for forming a coalition continue today (Monday) on both sides of the political map: Despite the meeting held on the holiday between Yesh Lapid chairman Yair Lapid and Ra'am Mansour Abbas, Ra'am emphasizes: "We do not deny anyone."

In recent days, a secret channel has been opened for talks between RAAM and the Likud, through Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas).

The United Arab Emirates (RAAM) keeps the cards close to the chest, and does not openly state who they will recommend to the president as a candidate to form the government.

There is another option whereby the list will decide not to recommend anyone.

MK Mansour Abbas: "We have been and remain consistent throughout. We are ready to talk to anyone who will accept our principles and meet our demands. There is a lot to do and address in Arab society, first and foremost rising crime and that is what our electorate expects of us. We received the mandate and trust from the public who elected us. '

According to Abbas' associates, a secret channel of talks has been underway between him and Shas chairman Aryeh Deri in recent days, in an attempt to find a way to support RAAM in the right-wing coalition. According to associates, there are good friendships between Deri and Mansour, as well as between S. to RAAM, and in the past there were collaborations between the factions in the Knesset.

However, according to those close to him, as much as it can be said that nothing was closed with Lapid - the same can be said about the contacts with Netanyahu and the Likud.

"The silence in recent days from the Likud and right-wing elements regarding the possibility of cooperating with the PM is not accidental.

There are intensive contacts and silencing the background noise is very helpful, "the sources noted.

It should be noted that the USSR does not rule out the possibility of a fifth election in an attempt to resolve the political tangle.

However, an associate of Mansour Abbas, the mayor of Nazareth, Ali Salem, believes that among other elections to form a government led by Netanyahu, the PM will prefer to support a coalition led by Netanyahu.

"If we want to take part in the political game then we have to go with the one who is strongest and in power. A government with Lapid will not last. Netanyahu's government will last. He is the strongest and he must go with him," Salem said.
