Today, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 140 new cases of Coronavirus in Syria, the recovery of 115 cases and the death of 8 of the recorded infections with the virus.
The ministry stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that the number of injuries recorded in Syria has reached 18638 so far, 12492 have recovered, and 1247 cases died.
The first infection with Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of March of last year for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
