The Director of Education in Lattakia Governorate, Omran Abu Khalil, confirmed that the educational process continues in all schools in the governorate without interruption, and that the Directorate is following up with all schools procedures for the smooth functioning of this process and securing its requirements.
Abu Khalil pointed out in a statement to SANA correspondent that there are instructions to all schools in the countryside that the school's administrative staff follow up the students ’education in the event of any emergency and the inability of the teachers to reach it, and in the event of a shortage of educational staff in a basic education school, teachers from the second cycle or Secondary school, to ensure that the teaching process is not disrupted in any school.
The explanation of the director of education came against the background of the suspension of work hours in the Dafla village school of the town of Ras Al-Basit, which the director of education considered a singular and wrong act, considering that the school includes ten administrators from the village’s people and 12 teachers from outside it, indicating that the school director could have compensated the school's administrative or The help of teachers in nearby schools.
