A significant development took place in the investigation into the murder of lawyer Ephraim Arnon in the yard of his home in Nesher took place over the past weekend.

Arnon, a well-known civil lawyer in the Haifa area in his 70s, was stabbed last Wednesday, and the Magen David Adom team that was called to the scene determined his death on the spot.

Since then, police have been searching for a suspect in the act.

"At this point I don't care who did it, I don't have my husband," his widow Ruth Arnon said last week.

Family member Erez Yissacharov added that Arnon "was a smart man, he knew how to bridge and compromise and in the end it would turn out that it was a mistake in the address."

He said, "It was always important to him all together, the family. All he cared about was that he would always be happy around him."
