For more than a month, 26 Algerian nationals have been stranded in terminal 2E at Charles-de-Gaulle airport.
Their lawyers, Mes Karima Hadj Said and Alexandre André, had seized the administrative court of Paris in summary to ask the airline Air Algeria to bring the passengers to Algiers, their final destination.
According to information from
Le Monde
, this request was rejected on Monday, March 29.
The court ruled that the company's refusal to embark Algerian nationals resulted from the decision taken by the Algerian authorities to close the country's borders.

The 26 passengers, including families with young children and a 75-year-old, took off from London Heathrow airport on February 26, with Algiers as their final destination, via Paris.
This stopover has turned into a long nightmare: travelers are stranded in the airport where they sleep on the benches or on the floor.
Due to the health crisis, Algeria refuses their boarding.
The country has, since March 1, suspended repatriation flights to Algiers, except for compelling reasons.
The risk of blockage would have been notified to passengers before their departure from London, according to a press release from the Algerian embassy in France, which the passengers deny.
