Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced today that the Minsk Agreements are the only basis for a settlement in southeastern Ukraine.
"There is a package of measures within the framework of the Minsk agreements signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, and approved by the presidents of the popular republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, and they were formalized and circulated as a document of nations," Sputnik news agency quoted Peskov as telling reporters. United is still the only basis for settlement in the southeast of Ukraine ”.
Peskov pointed out that it is important to determine the set of measures, the content of the document, the substance of the actions taken and their sequence, noting that there is no need to complicate anything, and only look at this document and re-read it to find out, and unfortunately, Kiev did not comply with it.
It is noteworthy that an agreement was signed in the Belarusian capital Minsk on September 5, 2014 to provide for a ceasefire between the two parties to the conflict in eastern Ukraine, but Kiev forces continue to violate this agreement and bomb residential areas in the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, killing and wounding hundreds of civilians and destroying structures Substratum.
