The collapse of the Likud's computer system on Election Day was a dramatic event for the party.

Likud professionals claim that its collapse caused at least two seats to be lost, which could have completed 61 seats for the bloc that supports Netanyahu.

We now reveal that the person who developed the system and was responsible for it is Guy Ben-Artzi, a startupist and also the nephew of the Prime Minister's wife, Sarah Netanyahu.

Sources who have worked on the computer systems claim that this is a particularly large failure.

The reason, they claim, is that a few days before the election, a kind of "tool experiment" was conducted in the computer system in which many faults were discovered, but since he is the nephew of the prime minister's wife - there was a fear of expressing doubt in the system.

"Everything was fixed and Fix worked"

"Ben Artzi and his partner are to blame for the collapse. They led a line that sought to separate from the 'Elector' app and establish a completely separate system," accuses one of the Likud members who were involved in what was happening, in a conversation with Israel Today.

"Before the election, they did an experiment with the system - and it collapsed."

In recent days, the Likud has demanded that the party's management conduct a comprehensive investigation into the collapse of the system.

The request has not yet been answered.

Ben Artzi is a startupist by profession who founded the "Bancor" company, which deals with virtual currencies.

The Likud claims that "attempts were made before the election and the system worked fine except for glitches that we were told would be fixed. That morning there was a load and the computer system worked at 50% output until noon. After that everything worked fine."

The Likud claims that the system reported 3.2 million votes during the day, but this out of a potential of 4 million voters - information gaps of about 800,000 voters, from which, in theory, a large number of seats could have been obtained.

In addition, the Likud claims that the decrease in seats since the previous Knesset occurred thanks to a "contribution" to Smutrich (in the form of avoiding attacks against him and even public support) and that some of the seats went to Saar and Bennett, regardless of the computer system.

The Likud stated: The Likud does not usually comment on the campaign's actions.

However, we will make it clear that, contrary to claims, all of the Likud's control systems operated successfully on Election Day.
