Notaries work alongside law students.
Inspired by the slogan of the government plan # 1jeune1solution, set up last July to support newcomers to the job market, the Superior Council of Notaries (CSN) is launching this Monday, and until the end of the academic year, the operation "1 notary / 1 student".
This initiative follows on from the “3620 called notary” system, which took place from March 1 to 4 to meet the listening and advice needs of young people in law studies.
Faced with the success of the three hundred notaries who had mobilized to provide hotlines, this time the CSN is pushing its action a step further with this sponsorship.
By registering on the sponsorship.etudiants@notaires.fr website, law students can thus be advised by notaries on their orientation.
They will also be able to question them on the themes they study and the working methodology, on the organization of the judicial and legal world, and of course on the work of the notary.
"
In the current health context, it is necessary to be in solidarity with our students by forging a human relationship to help some of them to fight against their situation of isolation
", assures David Ambrosiano, president of the CSN.
Due to the pandemic, discussions will take place by videoconference;
but if the sanitary conditions improve, the student could be received for a day in a study to discover the daily life of a notarial office.
