$ 75 million behind the scenes: The Biden administration is quietly increasing aid to the Palestinians
According to AP, the president has begun to live up to his promise to reverse Trump's decisions on the Palestinian issue, without issuing an official statement.
A day after announcing the transfer of $ 15 million to the West Bank and Gaza, he informed Congress that tens of millions more would be transferred to the restoration of "trust and goodwill"

The Biden administration is secretly stepping up aid to the Palestinians after former President Donald Trump cut it almost completely, the Associated Press reported last night (Wednesday).
Since taking office with a commitment to reverse many of Trump's steps toward Israel and the Palestinian Authority, the administration has transferred close to $ 100 million to the Palestinians, while declaring a much smaller amount.
The administration announced last Thursday that it had allocated $ 15 million to at-risk populations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, to help fight the Corona virus.
A day later, he updated members of Congress on the transfer of an additional $ 75 million intended for financial support, some of which would be used to restore "trust and goodwill" after the Trump-era cuts, without making it public.

The U.S. State Department has declined to comment on the report, and it is still unclear whether the amount on which Congress has been updated includes that previously published.
Either way, the aid program marks a significant change in the United States' attitude toward the Palestinians, following mutual accusations throughout Trump's tenure.
