Today, the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection issued a decision to amend the price per ton of packed and excessive black cement produced at the factories of the General Organization for Cement and Building Materials.
According to the decision that SANA received a copy of, the price of a ton of Portland cement of 32.5 caliber packed to the consumer became 150,000 Syrian pounds, and an excess of 125,000 Syrian pounds.
Whereas, the price of one ton of prepacked Portland cement of 42.5 caliber became to the consumer 181 thousand Syrian pounds, and the excess amounted to 154,950 Syrian pounds.
This amendment was based on the recommendation of the Economic Committee in its session No. 13 dated 3/22-2021 approved by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers letter No. 4417-1 dated 03/31-2021 and on the Ministry of Industry letter No. 57 AM and dated 3/31-2021 and the amendment came as a result of higher costs Production for companies and factories of the General Corporation for Cement and Building Materials.
