On the occasion of Mother’s Day and in honor of the mothers of the nation’s martyrs, the Peace and Love Youth Assembly presented the "Epic of the Nation 5" event on the amphitheater of the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus.
It included an operatic performance led by musician Khaled Haidar, a choir of Children of Love and Peace led by Maestro Wissam Mahfouz, in addition to a poem by the two girls Jana and Aline Muhammad.
The audience's interaction with the outstanding performance of the children revealed the existence of promising and distinctive artistic talents.
Dr. Siham Abboud, the supervisor of the assembly, said that the event was held in honor of Syrian mothers and the mothers of the martyrs, by presenting various artistic performances that included operetta and musical varieties.
And she considered that the interaction that the concert's paragraphs had from the attendees, especially with the songs, because they touched their feelings, especially those that glorify the mother, such as a song written in your name, O my country, and Yamo West, affirming the importance of holding such activities in honor of Syrian mothers who gave their children for the sake of the pride of the homeland.
