Organizers believe that the rules for seated gatherings of less than 5,000 people were not applicable for an event that received more than 100,000 in 2019.

The 16th edition of the Main Square current music festival in Arras has been canceled for the second year in a row due to the Covid-19 epidemic and "

government procrastination

do not correspond

" to the spirit of the festival and the expectations of its audience, nearly 115,000 people in July 2019.
