He received his Israeli citizenship when he arrived in Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received it at the airport and handed him an Israeli identity card in person.

In a special interview with "Israel Today", Pollard told about his new life in Israel: "It is difficult for me to describe to you the wonder of a walk with Esther on the street. Everything is so wonderful. The sky is blue and beautiful. People talk to us, and from the conversations I feel they know someone was willing to give His life for them. "

Esther Pollard, who is battling cancer, said in an interview: "Thank God, I'm alive, and that's the most important thing. We've faced so many hardships in these 35 years, including questions of Jonathan's life and death, and now there's that challenge. He "It's hard, painful and very complicated.
