The mother of a Salvadoran woman, who died when she was arrested by the police in Mexico, asked Wednesday March 31 for the help of US President Joe Biden and asylum in the United States for her granddaughters.
Victoria Salazar, 36, died Saturday during her brutal arrest by four Mexican police officers in Tulum (East), in the state of Quintana Roo, when she had just had an altercation with a shopkeeper.

Victoria Salazar had lived in Mexico for five years, with her daughters aged 15 and 16.
