2021-03-31T13:31:32.102Z

Three bikers crashed alone in four days at Torcy, Roissy-en-Brie and Pontault-Combault, with serious consequences for some

With the beautiful spring weather, motorcycles are out again all over the department.

But their use can have tragic consequences for their pilots in the event of an accident.

The police therefore wish to recall "the dangers of using motocross and mini-motorcycles on axes where they are not authorized, such as roads open to traffic".

“Without a helmet, the consequences can be serious,” says a police officer, appalled by three accidents that have occurred since Saturday.

The recall is not superfluous, because three young people ended up in the hospital, some in poor condition.

Starting with a 15-year-old teenager, Saturday in the middle of the afternoon, helicopter in an emergency coma to the Necker hospital (15th arrondissement).

His vital prognosis was still engaged on Tuesday, according to the latest news received by the police officer.

Vital prognosis for two bikers

While performing laps on the clay athletic track of the Arche-Guédon stadium in Torcy, he lost control of his motocross, bought the same morning with his father.

In front of his friends who confirmed the facts, the teenager living in town hit a post.

He was not wearing his helmet.

He had left it at home, with the complete equipment intended for this practice ...

The next day, Sunday, it was in Roissy-en-Brie, in the Renardière district, that a 23-year-old man was injured on a motorcycle.

The firefighters took him to hospital because he was visibly suffering from a head trauma.

It was alone, here too, that the biker fell and injured himself, while his head was still unprotected.

But once there, the police could not get their hands on his two-wheeler.

He disappeared.

It just so happened that a motorcycle theft had just been reported to the police.

Obviously, the police could not make the link.

This Tuesday, still no helmet on the head of another 23-year-old, living in Le Plessis-Trévise (Val-de-Marne).

In the avenue du Duc-de-Dantzig, in Pontault-Combault, he tried to pass a car, which was turning left.

He could not avoid the collision and it was his skull, too, that took.

Suspecting internal bleeding, the firefighters evacuated him by helicopter to Henri-Mondor hospital, in Créteil (Val-de-Marne).

The young man's vital prognosis was then engaged.
