Prominent visit to the Weßlinger Seeufer: The songwriter Konstantin Wecker came there yesterday to rehearse a refrain with young people and children for a film project.
Weßling - As reported, filmmaker Ingrun Finke (59) is currently shooting the film “Together instead of lonely”.
The content fits perfectly with his latest composition “We are all one”, said musician Wecker and spontaneously made the song available as the title track.
"We are lucky with the weather," said Finke happily as she spread a picnic blanket on the lawn next to the kiosk.
Elisa draped the pillows and dug some glass balls out of her pocket.
“I always have it with me,” explained the eight-year-old.
After all, these are not ordinary glass balls, but enchanted ones that can bring the protagonists into contact with other children around the world.
That's what the film is about: about closeness, despite distance.
The focus is on a magical diary in which a pair of siblings notes their dreams, thoughts, wishes and experiences and transports them to their peers somewhere on earth via a glass ball or, alternatively, via Elisa's glass balls.
“Magic balls for my concerts would be nice”, Wecker joked and mused at the same time, before discussing the lines of the song with the nine 8 to 18-year-old young actors.
Behind the prelude to the refrain "Instead of winning - stay where you are" hides the request "not to always want to be the best in the constant stress of competition," says Wecker.
Because: "Just because you run better, you are not the better person", he told the young people, who then courageously said "Don't let yourself be hunted by all the hunted".
Finke captured the scenes with the handheld camera.
Film dog Winni stood wagging his tail in front of Johanna (18) and Sarah (17), who accompanied the singing with their violins.
During the rehearsal, Wecker quickly changed the lines of the song in the second chorus from “nobody is better - we are all one!” To “together instead of lonely - we are all one!”
Florian Volkmann later recorded the lyrics again with the young choristers in his studio in Weßling.
Then the recording is superimposed on the film - and sent around the world.
