The studio of the College of Music Education at Al-Baath University in Homs, with its technical equipment, high performance tools and advanced musical instruments, provides an academic and qualitative space for those who want to enter the world of singing, playing and recording what they want with high-fidelity techniques that most of the audio recording studios spread in Syria do not possess.

Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, stated in his statement to SANA that the studio aims to connect the university with society, support artistic talents and contribute to the development of skills and musical creativity in the presence of distinguished university academic cadres.

In turn, Dr. Jacqueline Taqtak, Dean of the College of Music Education, drew attention to the importance of the idea of ​​taking advantage of the capabilities of the college's studio and generating revenues that would later contribute to studio maintenance operations.

In charge of the studio, engineer Shady Faham, stated that in order to activate this place and make the most of the huge potential that he possesses, it has been announced that the recording of songs by outside the owners of the Faculty of Music Education is allowed for nominal prices, explaining that the most important feature of the studio, which is not found in its peers Direct recording through individual and group playing rooms, without any player or performer being affected by the other.

Rand Sukkar, a student at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Damascus, chose this studio because of its high-quality technologies in order to record a violin piece, noting its capabilities and prices that are not comparable to what the private studios require.

For his part, Danny Haddad, a professor at the College of Music Education and a music distributor, emphasized the importance of the high-quality academic technologies that the studio possesses, especially the acoustic insulation feature, explaining that he recorded many songs in it with great craftsmanship.

Jamil Ammari, a teacher at the college, explained that he has many experiences recording songs in the studio, which includes advanced equipment, as well as the experience of the responsible person who helps the musician and singer to produce his work professionally because he possesses the artistic talent and full knowledge of how to use the devices.

Laith Aoun, a fourth year student at the college, pointed out the importance of this step, which enabled students to go through this experience before graduation and create a distinctive musical work.

It is noteworthy that the College of Music Education at Al-Baath University provides its students with the facilities and supplies for students, the teaching staff, and musical instruments in addition to the presence of a theater and studio equipped with the best instruments and an Internet laboratory, as well as 39 individual playing halls and 3 group playing halls, with a total number of 668 students.
