Contacts for the formation of a government:

Prime Minister and Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu will meet tomorrow with right-wing chairman Naftali Bennett.

Also, at the end of Shabbat, Bennett will meet with Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid. This will be their first meeting since the election.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the joint list, Ayman Odeh and Ahmad Tibi, met today with Lapid.

This is in order to prevent the formation of a Netanyahu government with Smutrich and Ben Gvir.

The joint list stated that the meeting was matter-of-fact and positive and that the two parties agreed to meet and discuss contacts for the formation of a government in the coming days.

As mentioned, in a statement issued by Netanyahu last night, he addressed Naftali Bennett and Gideon Saar, and asked them to join the right-wing government headed by him.

"Come home, let's build a stable right-wing government that will last for years," he said.

"Let's unite. It's no secret that there have been disagreements between us over the years, but we knew how to overcome them and work together."

Chairman of Tikva Hadasha Saar responded to Prime Minister Netanyahu's remarks and said that he did not intend to join him.

In a tweet he posted on his Twitter account, Saar wrote: "I will fulfill my commitment to the voter. I will not join or support the government headed by him."

Saar added that Netanyahu addressed him "on the very same day, when he and his people are once again spreading perverted and false conspiracy theories against me and the president."

According to Saar, "The continuation of Netanyahu's tenure, who prefers his personal good to the good of the state - harms Israel."

Saar added: "On the other hand, a government headed by Edelstein, Katz or Barkat - can be formed easily and quickly if Netanyahu prefers to change the good of the state over his personal good, clear the way and allow the state to move forward."

The right-wing party responded: "Naftali Bennett cares about the citizens, not the armored forces. Bennett will continue to make every effort to form a good and stable government that will rescue Israel from chaos."
