Covid-19: out of hospital, Roselyne Bachelot "begins a period of convalescence"

The minister had tested positive on March 20 for Covid-19. His hospitalization was announced a few days later.


More than ten days after the announcement of her infection, she leaves the hospital.

The Minister of Culture, Roselyne Bachelot, left the hospital where she had been admitted for complications related to Covid-19, we learned Thursday from those around her.

"She is out of the hospital, she is entering a period of convalescence," this source told AFP.

According to our information, her entourage, worried for the minister, was already reassured by seeing her respond to messages on Wednesday evening.

The 74-year-old minister tested positive on March 20 “as a result of respiratory symptoms”, before her entourage announced her hospitalization on Wednesday 24.

Placed under "reinforced oxygen therapy"

The next day, Roselyne Bachelot announced on her Twitter account that she was undergoing "enhanced oxygen therapy" treatment.

Former Minister of Health, Roselyne Bachelot had received a first dose of vaccine on March 17, three days before being tested positive.
