The World Health Organization warned today that Brazil is facing a very dangerous situation due to the Corona pandemic.
Reuters quoted “Maria Van Kerkhove,” an epidemiologist at the organization, as saying in a press briefing that a number of states in Brazil are experiencing a very critical situation, and hospitals are under stress due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kerkhove explained that many of the intensive care units in hospitals have reached a occupancy rate of more than 90 percent.
Brazil has recorded the second largest death toll from Coronavirus in the world after the United States, and as of this evening, it has recorded 12 million 753,258 cases and 321,886 deaths.
