The Arab Cultural Center in Al-Aziziyah, Aleppo, hosted the screening of the feature film, You Are Wounded, produced by the Ministry of Information, written by Qamar Al-Zaman Alloush, and directed by Naji Tohme.
The film, which is shown in Omar Hajjo hall for three days, is devoted to details in the life of the Syrian Arab soldier between facing battles and fire in defense of the homeland and between his family and loved ones who are eagerly awaiting his return.
Among the protagonists of the film, the artist Tawfiq Iskandar spoke about the feelings of pride in him being one of the participants in it, as he embodied the role of the officer who was martyred during his confrontation with the terrorists, considering that we are in front of an epic filled with feelings of love that may not only be between people but rather feelings of love for the homeland and that the film depicts the greatness of the people The Syrian who produced a great army proved to be a legendary army in every sense of the word, wishing mercy to the martyrs and healing to all the wounded.
Jihad Al-Ghannam, director of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Aziziyah, said that the film depicts the sacrifices and heroics made by the heroes of our army in defending the land against terrorism, and affirms the greatness and strength of cohesion between all components of the Syrian society.
SANA's camera monitored the views of a number of attendees about the film, as Nisreen Alou saw that it gives a beautiful picture of young people's love for their country, despite all the pressures and difficulties, and depicts the sacrifices of our brave army, which provided the most valuable thing it possesses for the sake of the nation.
Saedah Al-Jamal praised the work of the Ministry of Information in producing such kind of films, as the Syrian youth need work that gives them momentum and high spirits despite the sad hearts as a result of the terrorist war, noting that the film embodies the steadfastness of the people of Syria.
Abdul Khaleq Qalaji, Director of Radio Aleppo, considered that the movie You Are wounded is one of the many messages that the Ministry of Information is working on, hoping to work on delivering such films that carry meaningful messages to the whole world by translating them and showing them on social networking sites.
Presenter Nadine Hallaq pointed to the importance of the film as it speaks realistically about the wounded nation, thanks to whose sacrifices we live in security and safety. Thanks to all those involved in this work, as it sheds light on a very important stage that passed in our life and we lived it in all its details.
The young woman, Rasha Al-Aqeel, believed that the film contributed to spreading the enthusiasm in the screening hall, especially during the scenes of battles, as it embodied it with details that depicted the reality we lived during the years of war.
The media, Anas Ramadan, referred to the artistic creativity contained in the film You Are wounded through the direction and performance of actors, stressing that this is a natural development for Syrian cinema and that the film is an important model with all its artistic elements and outputs, as it talks about a reality we lived with the need to display it outside the country because it is a documentation of the war on Syria and the heroics Our army and the steadfastness of our people.
This was confirmed by Abdel Moneim Abu Saleh, who was affected by the scenes of the film as if it were a tape of memories that embodied all the tragedies that Syrians lived through during the war, indicating that it carries a very strong message between its folds, which is the strength of cohesion between all components of the Syrian Arab people.
