The three discussed crime in Arab society and possible solutions to eradicate the phenomenon, and decided to continue the talks in the near future in order to "exhaust the possibilities for changing the Netanyahu regime."
Later in the day, RAAM Chairman Mansour Abbas is expected to deliver a speech in Hebrew, with the RAAM Council convening beforehand to discuss the election results and the party's position regarding the recommendation or avoidance of a recommendation for a particular candidate to form the government.
MK Abbas has already met with MK Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid), MK Bnei Gantz (blue and white) and MK Merav Michaeli (Labor).
In the Netanyahu bloc, those who are meanwhile facing difficulties in cooperating with RAAM are the chairman of Religious Zionism, Bezalel Smutrich, who in the meantime refuses to form a government while cooperating with MK Abbas.
As you may recall, the head of the RAAM party, who left the joint list before the last election and ran on a separate list, became in this step the returning figure on the right and left after passing the blocking percentage and receiving 4 seats thus serving as a tie breaker.
